I am Anabel, a Product Designer from Berlin.

About me

I'm a systems-oriented Product Designer with several years of experience, specializing in turning complex enterprise systems into intuitive, scalable products. I work end-to-end across the full design process, from discovery and research to final handover, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to make sure we always build with the user at the center.

My background in Business Psychology and Marketing gives me a naturally broad perspective. I don't just think about usability. I think about adoption, business impact, and strategic value. That combination shapes how I approach every problem I work on.

Before moving into design, I worked at Google in the Ads ecosystem, supporting high-potential startups with growth strategies across the DACH region. That experience gave me a solid understanding of advertiser needs and what it means to work within a large, cross-functional tech environment that still influences how I work today.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me on the yoga mat, traveling, or exploring new cities and cultures that keep me curious and inspired.

My Approach

I start with the problem, not the solution. Before jumping into design, I make sure I deeply understand what's actually going on through research, stakeholder conversations, analytics, or simply using the product myself.

I believe good design lives at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technical reality. That means I work closely with engineers and product owners from the start, not just at handover. And it means I'm comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, and iterating fast.

I'm particularly drawn to complexity. The messier the system, the more I want to understand it, and find the thread that makes it feel simple for the person using it.
